Outreach

Jesus has promised to make himself known to us through the hungry, the stranger, the sick, and the outcast. (Matthew 25:31f). In anticipation of such sacred encounters the people of Grace Covenant participate in a variety of local, national, and international ministries through which we engage in service projects with and for those who are in need of human services. Consistently such interactions have enabled the congregation to see the face of Jesus in the faces of those whom society has shunned.

We have a ten year history of building Habitat for Humanity houses. We support a variety of programs to feed the hungry, currently serving approximately six hundred individuals a month. Another way we are blessed by God is through "Hospitality House", a shelter for homeless families in our own building. You will find descriptions of many of the church's outreach ministries here, so please click the section navigation links to the right for more in-depth information.
