Haiti Children's Project PDF Print E-mail

The Haiti Children's Nutrition Program is a cooperative effort to reach and support the hungry children of Haiti.  Grace Covenant is working with the program to raise funds and support intial responses.  After the initial earthquake in 2010, GCPC elder and doctor Rick Randolph was one of the first responders traveling with Heart to Heart international.  Rick was so moved by the people of Haiti and the tremendous need, especially among malnourished children, that he returned to Kansas to research solutions.  He was able to find others and help support ongoing health support in Haiti.  GCPC support is being channeled through the Children's Nutrition program, primarily through the Hearth program, and the mobile clinics.  These programs provide nutrition education and support in a variety of forms.  Medica Mamba is a peanut butter based solution which treats chronic malnutrition, similar to the Peanut Butter project which we have supported in Africa.  To find out more about the Children's Nutrition project, or to donate to them directly, follow the link below.  This link will navigate away from GCPC pages.
