Kairos an ancient Greek word for "right or opportune moment," captures the compelling call felt by members of this GCPC group to act now on behalf of urgent issues.  Peace, Justice and the Environment are the principle intertwined passions addressed by this group.

KAIROS meets at the church the second Sunday of each month at noon.  Education and action are our heart!  Issues will be determined by group members but may include areas such as these:  social and economic justice, peace, education, civil rights, recycling, environmental restoration, fair trade, GLBT, gambling, poverty, homelessness, and politics. KAIROS makes a difference by becoming involved and linking with others in GCPC, Kansas City, and world community with similar interests. Everyone is welcome.
