Child Care
Parents of young children have many choices. Grace Covenant’s nursery is open for infants and toddlers from 8:15 am – 12:15 pm. Parents can bring children to the nursery before worship, knowing their child will be well cared for by
our nurturing staff. Children age 3 – 7 can participate in the 8:30 or 11:00 services until “Come as a Child,” then leave to attend “Rise 'n Shine” or “Awakening to Worship.” These opportunities are age appropriate, and allow
parents to participate more fully in worship. Children are always welcome in worship. Children's education classes are from 9:45 - 10:45.

Food and Fellowship
Between worship services many in the congregation (members and guests alike) enjoy a good, nutritious, hot breakfast while enriching old friendships and making new ones at Heaven’s Blend Café. There is lots of time for talking,
storytelling, and tasting the varied items on the morning menu. And it’s not expensive! We hope you will join us for a good time with good friends.

8:30, 9:50, & 11:00 worship
“Honest,” “fun,” “a celebration,” “moving,” “different,” “refreshing,” “sometimes I cry,” “welcoming”…these are some of the ways people describe worship at Grace Covenant. Certainly, one of the most important things we do
is glorify God and enjoy God forever. Each week begins as we gather together for precisely that purpose.
On Sunday mornings - (8:30, 9:50, & 11:00 am Worship – September through May; 9:00 & 10:30 am Worship – June through August) – we come together from all different directions (with a diversity of needs and hopes and concerns) to offer God our thanks and our cries for help, to open
ourselves to God’s blessings, but most importantly to honor God through the offering of ourselves. Our services are known for their creativity… “No two Sundays and no two services are the same.”

Each year is highlighted by a rich variety of special worship services through which we celebrate our faith. The church’s year begins with four Advent Sundays, a time of preparation for the birth of Jesus.
Our Remembrance Service, held on the Sunday evening before Christmas Eve, enables us to spend quiet time with deceased loved ones who will not be with us on Christmas.
We offer three unique Christmas Eve services that include live animals, candlelight, carols, and Holy Communion.
Ash Wednesday and Lent are times of introspection and self-examination when we join Jesus on his way to Jerusalem and the cross.
Holy Week includes services on Palm/Passion Sunday, Maundy Thursday, when we remember the Last Supper, and Good Friday, when we gather at the foot of the cross.
No one worships Easter like we do at Grace Covenant. It truly is a celebration of life!
Pentecost is when we celebrate the church’s birthday by welcoming members of our confirmation class into the church.
World Communion, observed on the first Sunday in October, is when we join with Christians around the world in proclaiming God’s universal love.
Children’s Sabbath, the third Sunday in October, is the day we rejoice in Jesus’ love of children and their important place in the church.
All Saints Sunday, the first Sunday in November, is when we remember those we have loved and lost in the last year.
Thanksgiving Eve is a special night of fellowship and faith sharing while surrounded by a breathtaking scene of God’s abundant blessings.
