Each year is highlighted by a rich variety of special worship services through which we celebrate our faith. The church's year begins with four Advent Sundays, a time of preparation for the birth of Jesus. This season begins during the end of November or the first of December (depending on the number of Sundays before Christmas in December).
Our Remembrance Service, held on the Sunday evening before Christmas Eve, enables us to spend quiet time with deceased loved ones who will not be with us on Christmas.
We offer three unique Christmas Eve Services that include live animals, candlelight, carols, and Holy Communion.
Ash Wednesday and Lent are times of introspection and self-examination when we join Jesus on his way to Jerusalem and the cross.
Holy Week includes services on Palm/Passion Sunday, Maundy Thursday, when we remember the Last Supper, and Good Friday, when we gather at the foot of the cross.
No one worships Easter like we do at Grace Covenant. It truly is a celebration of life!
Pentecost is when we celebrate the church's birthday by welcoming members of our confirmation classes into the church.
World Communion, observed on the first Sunday in October, is when we join with Christians around the world in proclaiming God's universal love.
Children's Sabbath, the third Sunday in October, is the day we rejoice in Jesus' love of children and their important place in the church.
All Saints Sunday, the first Sunday in November, is when we remember those we have loved and lost in the last year.
Thanksgiving Eve is a special night of fellowship and faith-sharing while surrounded by a breathtaking scene of God's abundant blessings.
